Yes and no....It is at times pretty cool.. I get to think.. despite my lack of completing grade 2, I get to go up against some of the most brilliant minds in the world. I get to challenge them in their own feilds, I get to postulate theroies.. out with my area of expertise based on the information I am given, impliment ideas question orthodoxies, try to impliment cross discpline solution...involved in projects that have earth shattering effects, involved with budgets greater than the GDP of small nations, discuss patents with inventors.. sit across the table from some of the great corporate buisness men.. I ,mean one moment I could be discussing quantum physics with an expert.. geology with a geophysists, experimental chemistry with a mulptiple pHD. or even monetary policy with finance minister, union negotiations with a naked nigerian with a machete on the desk...

Hell I have drank whiskey at a party with an Iranian Ayatollah and discussed our disdain for Arsenal... .. But u know what was my greatest achievement was to give she who must be obeyed roses in Tripoli..

But I hate the waiting, the big lie we call it, the times I make a choice that others fear..with confidence and vevre.. As one guy put it at an interveiw when I put my balls on the table,, when I take ownership of an uncertain choice and i defend it against experts whit their own ax to grind who are incapable of giving information so they blind with data.. But that is the big lie, that I know what the hell I am doing!....

I discussed this with another consultant.. he put it that we just cant beleive they pay us for this [censored]...

Money at the moment is not a constraint..I have no respect for it, I spend it on impulse.. who knows whe the future will bring next year it could all disappear.. So I jink the best whiskey, smoke the best cigar, eat aberdeen angus steaks that go at £100.00 a kilo because it brings me pleasure...so I do what I want.. what is a constraint is time...She who must be obeyed cant plan holidays, cant expect me home at new years...I am lucky I have at teh moment no debt.. house is paid for(gonna change as we make an extention to the house) I have investment... not as much as I like

My wife tells me that I cant have a midlife crisis....look

fears i got quite a few: the principal one is death... And the only way to overcome that is putting your self at risk.. (now all gonna say they are not afraid of death, the reason is htey have not actually felt the mouth go dry or seen the look in the face of a man with as cold a heart as mine..) or camp out in a swamp in the delta knowing each mosquito bite would be the one that gives you cerebral malaria,,e.. Death I fear.. I accept the fear.. aint no need to cure it.. play russian roulete with your life..

I am seriously claustrophobic.. and going on a plane is an issue as the space is too small.. I manage it..(yet yesterday I took 7 short flights) and I do a minimum of two flights a week...

mi born ugly. and mi face broken by transfer of power to mi nose during a unsuccesful brief boxing career. couple scar on mi cheek from a bar fight or three. nerve severed on on side from a bullet. plasticsurgery cant reconstructed. mi three bag ugli.
