Why would I not asked for proof if the argument is Jamaican Whites are racist?
Why would I not be single-minded in interrogating the positions when it clear that posters are dishonestly conflating the issue of the slave Trade and is lingering effects with the accomplishments of Jamaican Home grown Entrepreneurs who started with virtually nothing.

What is I think is troubling is that Jamaicans cannot or will not draw a distinction between distinguish an English Colonialist and a Jamaican Half Caste or Descendants of folks who came to Jamaica either as indentured servants or as traders looking for new opportunities.

Posters have even gone so far as to fling the Spaniards into the mix. I have never heard of any resentment to the Spaniards or any connection between them and historical racism in Jamaica till now.

If anything the English and the Maroons would be the ones who had a beef with them.
As for the Maroons how come they are no hold over of lingering hate towards the Maroons if our hatred of the Spanish and English have festered for 500 years?
What about the Africans who caught and loaded us on the Slave ships?
