Michelle's dress was midlength. At no point during the interview was Michelle standing. She was sitting for throughout the entire interview. So of course if a lady wears a skirt that is mid length or longer its only normal for it to ride up a bit on her legs. Michelle is tall and has some very long legs. I think if she was wearing a pantsuit like Hilary or dressed in a suit like Condoleeza you would still have a problem with her attire

Be honest you would prefer that McCain and Palin got in

i realize my views are not popular among conventional thinkers but my point is...
if barack gave an interview in knee length shorts and a sleeveless shirt, how many of the same people would be laughing and scratching their heads? simply because society has taught them that in serious settings it is ok for a woman to show some skin, just not a man...
if she had on a pants suit i would have had no problem with her attire and if she was not michelle obama i would still make a comment that a first lady should dress more modestly...just like i did with condi rice or any other female leader who thinks it's appropriate to skin out in public..
...making observations on our leaders does not imply i wanted mcain-palin to win and no i did not vote for mccain-palin which you would expect me to do if i wanted them to win;

Women we can never win!!! The media attacked Hilary with her many pantsuits. They also attacked Condi with her conservative hairstyle. The media and public will never be satisfied. In the end, Michelle is beautiful and she is comfortable with herself. I love that about her Her attire is not something that we are used to. Yes, I agree that it is not the norm for the First Lady to be dressed as Michelle dresses. However, I love her style and its a welcome change. The same welcomed change her husband brings.

i don't cater for the media...media a joke ting that feeds the population nothing but propoganda;
these opinions are my own not any type of media...i respect michelle &amp; barack; but i reserve the right to state my opinions...and my opinion remains that woman in high positions should dress modestly as they set an example for young females to follow.
as outdated as that sounds i still respect it...women have to know the power of attraction they hold
