The hospital we use in Carroll COUNTY is within walking distance of the site where these illegals were to be housed. The possibility of her being exposed to any antibiotic resistant TB or other diseases would be fatal. NOT COULD BE FATAL...WOULD BE FATAL.

My husband died of kidney cancer a few years ago. I live in Montgomery County where the TB rate is twice as high as that of Carroll County. As a health professional, my mother worked on an anti-TB campaign for almost all her working life. She was exposed to the bacteria as she had to do field work in some of the most dreadful of places in Kingston, Jamaica. She was immune as a result of vaccine and diligence in health hygiene. Like most Jamaican children, we had the BCG (TB) vaccine.

Did you know that TB affects one-third of the World's population? We should all push for TB eradication through healthy living conditions and vaccination.

Oh, Peasie, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. And, I know that it had to take it's toll on you. Thank you for the well wishes for me and my wife. That's very kind of you. Your mom must have been one great lady. It takes dedication and self sacrifice to provide such care....We are almost neighbors, and I agree we should push for eradication of TB.
