Unless you use words loosely, and independent of their meaning, then you are suggesting, (though you haven't explicitly said it) that Barack Obama is corrupt because he is from Chicago.

Now, he may do some corrupt things in the future, we don't know. But you must show us how he is corrupt NOW and not just base that on the fact that he is from Chicago.

Please, show me where I posted anything that said President Obama was corrupt. I am discussing politics on a whole. Obama is part of politics.
I said Chicago politics is known for corruption which makes me leary of any politician from Chicago....Would this not be logical thought? How would this be an idotic assertion knowing the past history or for that matter the recent history of Chicago politics?

As we speak Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been charged for peddling and profiteering of Obama's seat. The very same seat Obama attained after Republican candidate Jack Ryan's domestic sex scandal forced him out of politics.
Dan Rostenkowski’s political career went belly up in 1994 when he was indicted on corruption charges for his role in the House post office scandal. He was forced to step down from all Congressional leadership positions.
How about Mayor Richard M. Daley? How about the Daley family history in Chicago politics?.....Need I say more?

Obama signed on with Mayor Daley as long ago as 1987 when Daley was running for mayor....Why should Obama not be subject to my suspicion? As I said before, Obama is a politician.

It's not an indictment but merely an observation that all logical thinking people should consider of any politician. </div></div>

Granted so many people disagreed with Barack’s politics and policies during the campaign but very view with exception of Plain an her cronies got to the low level that Michael Steele sunk to. He straight up dogged the guy like he raped his sister or stole something for him. There is always room for a healthy political debate and Michael Steele has got to brush up on those skills.

I was laughing my guts out when on Fox news Sunday he declared there will be NO change to the Rep values and he kept on spewing mud on Barack (his business as usual) . Even Chris Wallace was taken a back by his tone ..knowing dam well that tone has to change. Way to go mister fearless leader of the RNC

That's correct, I have not said President Obama is corrupt. At least you are honest enough to state that very important fact.
I said that he came from the most corrupt city in AMERICAN politics (short of DC.) I see that no one has challenged that fact.

Let's just hope that the time he spent there that none of the corruption has rubbed off.

If you are blind to the point I'm making because you suffer from Obama fever then so be it. I don't worship any person especially a politician. I treat all politicians with the same caution and cynicism that they deserve.

In closing I hope he turns out to be the best and most sucessful President this country has ever seen.
It would restore my faith in politics.

They move Alan Keyes to ChiTown to tackle Barack. They picked Sarah Palin as VP to counter the alleged fallout from Barack not choosing Hillary, so now they have chosen what they think will silence the crowd that have noticed that the Party has painted itself into a vary narrow corner.

It does offer them some rope but it also makes the President of the USA truly look like the Magic Negro.

..and you expected anything else? It's politics. Both sides are always maneuvering and posturing to put themselves into position of control. They are all power junkies.
It's not about making the country better for the average citizen. It's about making things better for themselves.

I would answer that with President Obama's reputation was already tarnished just being involved in Chicago politics.
That's just my opinion based on the historical nature of CHICAGO POLITICS....nothing more and nothing less.
Let's do a google and find out how many of the politicians that have been indicted or are out of office for whatever corrupt reason had political contact with the president?....just for the hell of it?.... I really have no idea.....LOL Remember the truth will set you free or me. I have no problem with the truth...do you? Is he really squeaky clean? Birds of a feather? Let's find out.

I thought you knew already and the truth would have set you free?

Your measure of truth is not very robust. You brought up Barack in reputation in an argument about Michele Steele. You have determined through Google that Chicago is a den of corruption and that Barack must already be tainted coming from Chicago, but is that your only measure. Did you consider the other 262 other cities with population let say 100,000 persons?
Again was President Lincoln and Presidential hopeful Adlai Stevenson corrupt as well, or did google did not go back that far?

It does seem to me you have a huge problem with the truth. You have not posted anything that would dissuade me from believing that you are nothing but another low-biting member of the human race performing a hit-job on the POTUSA reputation for no good reason.
