trust me i know i'm in the remote minority on this one;
but just like i wouldn't want to see a president in short pants or tank top, i feel the same way about a first lady;
and in general i respect the modest look on women...they don't need to show legs or clevage to remind me that they are women;
but that's just me

so i've not seen michelle in a mini skirt, only in skirts to her knees or long dresses. i'm not even sure she's shown cleavage. so how has she fallen short of your standards for modest women, apart from bare arms? i mean, i'm not seeing where you're saying you agree with the way michelle dresses...

that's why there are things called opinions which not everyone agrees with;
but i'm radical so no surprise here;
i consider her 'official' portrait with straightened hair to be a tragedy akin to laura bush's official portrait being done with her wearing braids or cornrows;

so i don't move with the mainstream on very many issues

my personal opinion is that a first lady should not be showing skin when in an official capacity...i used to say the same for condi rice or anyone else...i like the suit look or even the pants-suit hillary used to be ridiculed for- when in official capacity
