Not to say the alleged gunman was guilty of any of these murders but I have long said these so-called entertainers are more supportive and active in the criminal underground than most folks are willing to believe.

When you think about Beenie Man and his association with the Murderous Black Roses Crew. Sizzla and everlasting wars in August town, Bounty Killer and his gang, Movado and with his crew, Ninja Man and his long association with gun toting heavyweights then it is not just conjecture to say crime and the music often walk hand in hand.
Of course it did not start with the new kids on the block, I can remember well why, by whom and the circumstances under which Peter Tosh got killed.

The list of violent entertainers and their gun-toting posses is endless and it would take days to compile. Suffice to say, these guys and girls operate in very hostile climate, most hail from very tough neighbourhoods so one can overstand their reliance on guns to protect them, but some of these entertainers are no different from the shottas that are willing to deal death and destruction with each squeeze of the trigger and are very hypocritical in what they sing about and what they are about in reality.

There is no word yet as to whether the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) will take action against two soldiers for their conduct while on duty at the crime scene yesterday.

In news item carries on Television Jamaica last night, one of the soldiers slapped a man claiming to be a musician in the face during a verbal clash with a female police sergeant.

Another soldier who interviewed pulled a baton from a policeman and knocked the man on the head with it.

The man had crossed the police tape when the female police sergeant was reprimanding him.

She ordered him to go back but he disobeyed telling her that he was tired of the abuse and the unacceptable manner in which the police often talk with citizens.

in defence of the entertainers some of these guys were their friends before they got 'big';
the quickest way to put you and your loved ones lives in jepoardy is to start distance yourself from the people you came up with from the ghetto;
not excusing any criminal behavior but you can't expect these guys to suddenly shun dem gunman friend just because they are now known as a big singer;
they are a part of the overall situation in jamaica so it's not really fair to label them the same as the criminals...for a few it might be fair but yu cyaan paint dem wid a rhaatid broad brush
