It is not a very diverse area of the country up here. Regular anti war protests and rallies for civil rights happen and for bigger things bus loads of people are often bussed 3 hours away to St. Paul. The Duluth rally was approximately 700 people yesterday. We're kind of at the end of the world up here as far as some things go.

Back around 1970 I lost a job after beging spotted by my boss in a peace march. I think it was on May Day. Anyway, I didn't care cause I just went and got another one. in later years I worked for the State and did end up having to watch my P's and Q's a lot more. I no longer bow down to those restrictions but I have toned things down since the 60's when my son was on the cover of the first underground newspaper produced here.

I'm getting a flood of fun memories from those days all of a sudden due to this thread!

We all start out as firebrands and later go on to being smoldering embers.
But the fire is still there we just use it defencively now.

Instead of the earlier days, when we ised it <span style="font-weight: bold">in al cases </span>.

The class that funds the right wing talk-radio, has a strategy that has been paying them bigg time at the cost of the ones that they use to do it.
They have the abillity to get to uninformed americans and sew disinformation and let thembelieve that any tax reduction is good for them.

the reason is that they know that this froup is not sharp enough to realize that they do not benefir. so they use them one more time.

when will the people that has the intrest of the average American stand up and explain thi sto these lost souls??

if you listen to rightwing talk radio they are typical of the callers(from what i see) who only get their information from one source and follow blindly.

you see I understand this and their veiws. what I mean is I dont get those who *didnt* think the above now having issues with this policy execution.

So, you see it as those voters who approved of the package in the beginning as now being brainwashed into viewing it negatively?
