that's the point...whatever makes a kid different is open season for other kids to tease them...the parent has to re-inforce self love to help them get thru it...
when i came from jamaica and went to a mostly white school couple yutes called me mi66er and all that, even jumped me and all that;
but thanks to the self worth i was taught i fought back &amp; didn't choose to go kill myself;

sure it is racism, homophobia, weight-ism, height-ism, age-ism, intelligenc-ism or whatever other ism you can think of...

i was only making the point that kids &amp; bullies are gonna tease kids who are different from the so-called 'norm' for whatever reason

It is a matter of survival of the fittest.

I suppose it is one of nature's way of making sure that only those who are prepred enough will survive to produce offspring.

I taught mk kids how to turn taunting back in the bullies.

And it is sometimes so seccessful that a fight start.

so I taight them mhow to make sure the bully gets blames for the fights too.

They each and everyone behave as if taunting in school is such a dangerous act. I mean it happens to 99.9% of children in school. the problem should be appropriately treated like every other common occurrence. Bit no they are all up on arms about what to do with the taunter. Like every one of them as children had not taunted other kids while in school.
