If you have a ticket booked from point A to Point C with a layover and change of planes in point B can you cancel the second leg and just stay in Point B instead of carrying on to C?

My guy tried to do that this morning and the checkin ooman told him it was illegal

since Point C isnt the final destination of the ticket, airlines consider changing of that point from C to B as illegal.

Only unless he paid for a full price or business class ticket can you get around that.

Dat sound like smaddy who want to run away...lol. Not sure if it is illegal however if it is a second country there may be some immigration issued that need to be cleared up.

airline term for an invalid ticket.

like if your connection time isnt sufficient then they call it an illegal ticket cause it is against FAA rules.

he is traveling from Canada to Wyoming but needs to stay in Denver for a meeting instead of going on to Wyoming...but you could be right about immigration as Wy is his residence of record on his work visa

well here is the issue, he is already in Denver AND he is traveling wid 4 pickney an nuff baggage

Now the airline people a tell him dem will tek off him checked bag for $800.00

We decided he should just leff di bag on the plane an get the kids to collect it and I will get a nex guy to drive it back to Denver fi him

if u child travelling widout u, the letter giving the person carrying dem have to be notarized?

or it can just be an informal letter written in pencil/crayon/marker (like how me normally write me letters dem)..alrite joke...but it can just be typed and signed by a parent..or both parents have to sign it and it have to be notarized?
