It is the business sector that finance politicians and elections for the most part
and it is the business sector that decides the government that leads a country. It is a rare occasion where politicians get in by using taxpayer money or small membership contribution. Tye decide how much the poor suffer. they decide how laws are enacted that is why it is like the way it is. Since they are entrenched in the country, and chose to change the party, but never the way things are done.

I suppose you never read the first line in economics at high school.You mean you dion't realize that everything that exist in a civiloized country has monetary value and is owned by some person,even tyhe impersonak stock market is iwned by the owners of the stock.

Ok mr learned intelligent professor person who knows more than everyone else.....explain to me if the economy is *owned* why are we currently all in a recession,why didnt the owners do something to steer the economy away from a recession,surely it`s not in the owners interest to lose money,...if they own the thing then they control it`s success or failure right....?
