LOL it is sad and it the reason I posted it. Do you remember John McClan’s Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran and GWB Axis Of Evil?
Even if we only believe half of what is written here surely it is a serious case of recklessness, careless thinking that would inform powerful men such as the aforementioned, to want to casually bomb a place you have no reliable intelligence about.

As it is we see that the common folk is basically unarmed, that the State wields great power inside the country and enough influence outside of the country to make it almost impossible to create Regime Change with or without the cooperation of the Iranian people. Quite frankly it would be another bloodbath if the USA and/or its allies attacked either NK or Iran.

You said it. When I heard McCain mimick the beachboys song I literally cringed. Seriously?

N.Korea is the 4th largest armed force on the planet last time I looked. And if you want to call someone a crackpot despot, look no further. I meant to look to see if the US is still tracking that ship.

I found a very freaky, very rare video of a family in N.Korea...the level and degree of brainwashing evident is, in a word, stunning.

Gonna search it out. In the video there is an escapee interviewed, whose testimony, even taken skeptically, is frakking unreal.

I often wonder if they made the right decision when they stopped prosecuting that war. We did have Iraq II.

A reader writes, &quot;I believe this is well worth reporting: many interesting photos are being put on the web as I write, a good number of them published by IRNA itself (see here). These are images from the recent Guardians Council TV broadcast session where they 'recounted' some ballot boxes and found out that indeed Ahmadinejad's votes were higher than previously counted. These pictures show two things very clearly: 1) that a whole lot of the ballots that are being recounted are fresh, crisp, unfolded sheets - which makes no sense, given that people typically had to fold these sheets before they can slip them into the ballot boxes, and 2) that the handwriting on so many of the sheets which are votes for 'Ahmadinejad' are the same handwriting (and very clearly so).&quot;

If the US had an embassy there, some problems could have been averted. Civilized countries talk to each other, and that means establishing diplomatic relations.

Fars News Agency in Persian on 1 July 2009 reports that the commander of the Law Enforcement Force said: Arash Hejazi who as the witness of the murder of Neda Aqa-Soltan has created uproar is being prosecuted by the International Police (Interpol).

Speaking to a gathering of reporters, General Esma'il Ahmadi-Moqaddam added: Arash Hejazi is being prosecuted by the Ministry of Intelligence and Interpol forces.

He stressed: The murder of Neda Aqa-Soltan is a scenario which has no links to Tehran's riots.

Arash Hejazi, the doctor who was present at Neda Aqa-Soltan's murder scene, has held certain sensational interviews with foreign media on this murder case after departing the country.

Hejazi fled to London shortly after Neda's murder. He conducted a lengthy interview with the BBC last week, acknowledging he would probably never be able to return to Iran.

The madmen have gotten a hold of the Iranian Revolution. This is the way of Totalitarian Regimes the rulers hate to be embarrassed and they find ever increasing ways to try to exact punishment from those who they think has done them wrong.

Most likely while it will not result in criminal prosecution of the Doctor, his family and close associates in Iran will be put on list of persons to be shunned and harassed.
Maybe if Iran had the reach of some other well-known States they would have him executed.

well this is what I was thinking on The few Iranians I have met here, this has been their overriding concern and fear. One young man told me how his brother - younger brother in his early 30's - died from the STRESS of the constant harrassment from the secret police. This man was involved politically in Iran (wouldnt give me details) and had fled to Canada but his family remains and are paying a heavy price.

I was just curious to know if they (the govt) actually say something more than just &quot;we are charging him&quot; to try and give at least the appearance of logic to their actions. Apparently not. Because when u read it u notice the absence of any details that u can follow - even if u choose to disagree with said details.

Maybe they did but they are certain things called <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Dog Whistles</span>, old Southern Blacks know what is means.
They only need to send a signal that will be read in the right quarters. They have basically cooked his, his friends and family’s goose by accusing him, no matter how inept it looks in print.
