Why can't people see the difference between paid promotion and the usual references to the person?
What is so difficult about that?
I realize that very often the anxiety to oppose results in the blurring of people's vision, but this takes the cake. </div></div>
the difference which you are not taking into consideration is that HE came up with it as a response to being called whacko jacko during the lull between releases, which was a name coming from tabloid journalism at it's finest snakiness. so if 'they' (evil thunder noises) were trying to break him and take him down and blacklist him why would their PR tool- that section of the media- run with the beneficial term at all?
Doc the reality is defying what you remember/are making up about it, including ALL his hits which were basically contemporary, his number one debuts on the charts, and his constant radio/club plays. It took Nirvana's record to really put a dent in his position.
