You need to get that Woodstock album and see how he led into it....but if you can't lots of the clips are on youtube. There also a song called machine gun, live from his Band of Gypsys album.

the national anthem is my favorite by him - had it on my facebook page not long ago

just listened to it - well, to the whole thing, cause i used to change part way thru it (i have a hendrix best hits cd at home). guy had some serious virtuousity with the guitar. still not my fave of his songs though, but i will recognize give him due for how he intereprted the anthem.
