I've been away for a while - not sure if this has been mentioned/recently discussed ...

With the recent release of the full 2005 deposition concerning the Cosby/Constand case, have your views on the matter, changed either way? Have your views about the accusers changed - views on Cosby himself?

I spent the weekend reading the entire document.

What say you all - thoughts?

From the time I found out he used to hang out at the Playboy Mansion my views on him changed. He is an ole goat and dawgasaurus of the highest order.


First off, while some of these were likely casting couch scenerios, there is NO way so many women could be lying.



However, I have no sympathy for the 15 year old Playboy bunny.




I have absolutely no sympathy for the aspiring writer who he made EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT and went back a second time to his hotel room and accepted drinks from him.

Yes, I agree with u whole heartedly.

I remember a thread from some many months ago (can't recall all the details of it) but I was so surprised to see so many on here defending him. Some even said that Beverly Johnson was paid for her Vanity Fair interview and was telling her story, like some of the other accusers, for purposes of money. Now with that deposition released and a few other items, I was wondering if the climate had changed at all ...

I've known 2 men in my life like Cosby - men in position of power who have 2 faces - lead 2 lives. I never doubted that Cosby was a dog. And so many in the business have known about him for decades but were afraid to speak up.

There may be some who are in it for the money and some casting couch scenarios but my position has always been that there is no way that ALL of those women could be lying.

Amazing to me that the vast majority of the time, benefit of the doubt automatically goes to the male. If dude had won the case - his TEN! year battle to keep the deposition sealed - the stories of these women would still be in doubt because he's "Bill Cosby". Well ... who the hell is Bill Cosby? He's human, right?

I'll never understand it. A man is just a man. We're all human. Profession and / or influence have no bearing on anything. People are capable of anything.

She bowled me over when she said there's no way Cosby be could be guilty these things because he's been such a great mentor and such a force for the black community. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

He will pretty much have to live out the rest of his days enjoying his millions in self imposed seclusion. Who is going to pay to go see him perform and there will always be an abundance of hecklers in his audiences anyway, so why would he even want to take to the stage again?

Sadly, it is a rich serial rapist who gets to "live out the rest of his days enjoying his millions in self imposed seclusion." He should be imprisoned, undergo psychiatric treatment, and made to pay restitution for the lives he has destroyed.

I agree, but even if he could be charged he would be so heavily lawyered up that he would never set foot in jail.

...and like it or not...the statute of limitations means the clock has run out on prosecuting these crimes. Clearly, the timeframe has to be changed. I still don't understand why women wait SO long to come forward...and we are talking about established and successful women in some of these cases.

No....My opinion of Blll has not Changed.

My opinion on Blll reaches its Lowest in the late 70's when I heard (through the Rasta Grape vine) that he rebuff Harry Belafonte's offer for him, Ruby Dee, Ossie Davis and Sidney Poitier to stand beside Martin Lurther King in one of his Marches.....like I said cant verify the truth of this story as it came by way of Bredrin to bredrin.


Rumor has it during the Civil Rights Movement Blll was at the Playboy Mansion trying to do you know what with all those bunnies....which is probable where he pick up or honed his predilections.

Just to clarify Rasta is about Human Rights.

I revisted this low point when he took it upon himself to berate poor black men in the public media

Notwithstanding the above Blll is a great artist, and I enjoyed and still do enjoy many of his production.

As with Micheal Jackson, R Kelly, Woody Allen, Clarence Thomas, Mike Tyson, Britney Spears, Kobe Bryant, Tupac Shakur, Oscar Wilde, Dominique Strauss Kahn, Roman Polanski, Errol Flynn, Abraham, King David, King Solomon, Mohammad, Jesus Christ as well as the many thousands who have never been found out or made public, When it comes to sexual proclivities of artists, athletes, and famous personalities its usually a matter of wrong place, wrong time(culture) or just being found out.....but the art and work remains.
