FINALLY wrapping up the clearing out of my dad's house today. New owners take over on Wednesday. (My dad continues to live in the hospital while a bed in a nursing home becomes available).

It's been a long road but what it taught me is that all the "stuff" you collect and value over the years is rather meaningless as you near the latter years of your life. I have seen all the material things that my dad had treasured so dearly over the years end up in a garage sale or headed to the dump.

All he has left now are those family and friends who go to visit him and his "God". Material things are nice to have while you can enjoy them but in the end it is the relationships and the spiritual connection that you have built throughout your life that matter.

am driving bout half and half to a pool party/barbecue so want to get an early start as she ask us to come cook some stuff for her. Well she ask the Mr so we leaving out shortly.

Well I have this new bikini that first time wearing and doan ask me to poas no picture!! eh not appropriate for the board

So here enjoying my Blue Mountain going down for brekky in a likkle while when the Mr. finish mek it

It hot hot hot do not like it this hot though but such is life. Enjoy yu day all I plan on enjoying mine

Mawnin All

Had planned to get up early and hit the Farmers' Market and then go pick some strawberries but a bad tummyache kept me up for most of the night I dont have the energy to battle the crowds at the market or to pick strawbrries in a big field

Just enjoying my morning tea now And will head out soon to get my eyebrows threaded and then meet my friend for Brunch at my favorite spot

Have to tidy up the garden later and then get some prep work done for the BBQ tomorrow

Another beautiful weekend weather-wise is in the making

fe real..it's been over a yr since my mom passed..and I still have not really dealt with her belongings...so many things she held on to for decades will have to go the way of the SA or dump...i think that's why i keep putting it off
