Peasie ..I have one.. I just didn't turn it on while I was in the house.. I disarmed it when I got home.. Di wan blinking time the house wasn’t armed they break in.. Satan is truly di devil in hell cho!!

Yes Dr. Dudd.. I know.. That's what I usually do at nights but like I said one of those days when you take things for granted and I was not at all feeling well... much less to expect a break in

My boss and his family was gone to bed few weeks ago when they broke in through the back and exit the front with his flat screen.

The economic make them brazen. I have a copy neighbor with them 2 cars always on my street - I hope that will spare us.

Went home sick yesterday about 11 am. Got home barely crawling up to my bedroom. Took a dose of Theraflu and went under the blankets. TV turned on so it can help me fall asleep. Somewhere around 12 noon I heard grumblings which I took to be the grumbling of thunder (it was cloudy outside) . Thinking its thunder I ignored and drifted off to sleep

Woke up after 3pm and went downstairs to get a cup a soup. I could not believe what I saw. I thought I was still under the influence of the cold medicine.. so I literally close my eyes tightly and opened them again. In front of me was a big wide opening that led from my dinning area to the deck. The patio door was forced open and the a few blind shades were torn off. The dining table was shifted and so was my printer desk that was at the entrance.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Someone had broken in the freeking house</span>!! I literally started to shake ..even forgot where the heck to find the phone. I reached for the phone and called 911. CoP s came and told me to get out of the house (sick as I was).. their guns drawn, they said they had to search the entire house to make sure the intruder is still not in.

I am still in a state of shock. Cops asked me couple questions..filed a report …dusted for fingerprints ..the whole 9 yards. My personal laptop among some other things was stolen. But all in all the intruder could have come up stairs where I was and like I said.. .it could have been worst. </div></div>

Glad to know that the parasites didn't come upstairs...console yourself with the fact that it could be worse. Thank God they didn't hurt you...feel bettah.

I was robbed once when I lived in Baltimore.
I was asleep in the bedroom and two guys broke my skylight and came into the house. I heard them arguing about going downstairs to see what else they could find (apparently they weren't satisfied with the stuff I worked hard for that was up there )
they didnt come downstairs to where I was.
I was frozen. I couldnt even move, let alone think to reach for the phone to call the police.
When I finally came to myself, I called a neighbor and he came over and then I called the police.

I know what you mean about being in disbelief. You sure do feel violated.

Thank God you didn't wake up and surprise them.

I keep dogs AND a loaded gun under my bed but I live in the woods and an alarm would be basically useless in this kind of situation.
