understood Yuri, however, I am assuming he re-enlisted several times since enlisting, (quite possibly again even after 9\11) so mi juss a wonder why him nevah juss exit stage left, once all that cass cass buss out ?


and even if he thought he would not have been deployed (and ended up remaining in the US) his beliefs clearly were in conflict with his role/job and the establishment him claim to work fah ??

Who to tell – can’t assume anything.

Maybe the military paid for his schooling and he had one of those deals where he HAD to stay to give back, etc.

As usual, there’ll be tons of misinformation for the first few days.

One thing we know for sure, he wont be seeing the light of free day again, that’s for certain.

Nightline had a good, too short interview last nite – with the former Fort Hood muslim cleric.

He recently left Ft Hood for reassignment to another base shortly before the shooting and knew Hasan and had interviewed him for a position before leaving Ft Hood.

The reporter asked the cleric what Hasan was like – did he seem like an extremist ...

The cleric said that Hasan didn’t seem like an extremist at all, but that you just can’t see into a person’s mind – you just can’t ever fully know what a person is thinking.

i dont know whay they are pursuing that direction so vigorously when all the evidence is that its more likely a case of workplace violence..the bad review..the feelings of persecution..the alienation.

anway, I have a feeling the military is going to suddenly adopt a &quot;policy&quot; towards this segment of the population currently serving

Travel is so flipping cheap nowadays too. You can pick grapes across Europe, teach English, etc. to make extra money while touring.

If you can't stand the heat, get out the kitchen.

Still, I'm sure there'll be much more to come of this Hasan business. Initial news reports were wildly inaccurate, so who knows what other falsehoods are being circulated.
