Mi have bout 2 minutes Forty before mi havi run ... so mu a go mek it quick. &quot;Mocked&quot; in the sense of not showing respect for the court.

Any ole criminal usually come to court dress like cow backfoot to present a possitive whoelsome &quot;image&quot;. She was dressed in Jeans an regular shirt almost everyday ..den di hair ina pig tail. There was the occassional gigling wid har fam from her desk while di trial was going on.

She verbally abused the interpretor at the start of the trial sey shi neva did a interpret right.

These accounts were documented and there is more but mi noh have no time now.

No Wendy – you have it right. You ARE thinking about the right case – it’s the same Knox case.

The matter is, not everyone agrees on what you’re saying.

Some feel motive was established – others say no.

– prosecution says she was jealous of the victim – however, there’s no ***EVIDENCE*** of jealously. No diary of this, no voicemails of this – just various opinion that she was jealous. It has never been “clear” that there was jealousy. It’s just been said that there was.

- the prosecution says that the murder weapon had her DNA on, yet the defense has shown that the Rudy Guede, who WAS convicted of the murder last year, had NO dna or fingerprints on the knife!!! what’s more it’s not been absolutely decided upon that said knife WAS the murder weapon – this is one reason that lack evidence is going to be one of the key issues of the appeal

- ‘witness’ testimony has been disputed by both sides so how much evidence does that really hold – or not

- also re evidence, remember that the police and investigators really DID do a [censored] poor job of collecting and contaminating physical evidence; even an untrained eye can SEE this if you watch the 20+ hours of video of the collection

- I do agree though, that not all murderers have a history of past violence – that’s just hogwash, so any line they’re trying to run about “oh Amanda doesn’t have a violent bone in her body – has never hurt a fly, just doesn’t wash with me.

- and not to mention the lead prosecuting atty himself, EXTREMELY controversial; has a history of malpractice amongst other things

Again – all in all – maybe she’s innocent / guilty. I couldn’t care less.

What I DO find totally insane, is the ridiculing galore of the Italian Justice system just because it’s “different” than the that of the US.

They did establish Motive. She did not like her housemate and it was clear there was some jealousy there as well. I think what may have tipped her over the edge is when the boss reprimand her for not showing up to work and threaten to fire her and replace her with the housemate (why is that I dont know)

The outstanding questions don't clearly favor either the defense or the prosecution; neither side seems to have presented an airtight argument.

The prosecution capped its case by showing a 23-minute video reconstruction of what they believe happened the night Kercher was sexually abused, physically battered and killed.

Based on witness testimony, cell phone and computer records and forensic evidence, the video -- which prosecutors showed separately to several CNN journalists and a New York Times reporter while the jury was deliberating Friday -- may have made a powerful impression on the jury. It looks like a video game, with lifelike 3-D buxom women and muscled men striding through the streets of the medieval town.

But it fails to place either Knox or Sollecito at the scene of the crime. Both switched off their cell phones around 8:30 on the night Kercher was killed, and Sollecito's computer was not in use at the time of the killing.

The video suggests that Kercher was attacked with two knives, only one of which was ever found.

Prosecutors say a large kitchen knife belonging to Sollecito struck the fatal blow, arguing that Kercher's DNA was on the blade and Knox's was on the handle. The defense says the DNA samples are too small to be conclusive.

The defense also undermined the testimony of a star prosecution witness -- a neighbor who said she heard a bloodcurdling scream and the footsteps of people running from the scene. She might well have heard the scream, the defense said, but would not have been able to hear footsteps from her room.

Prosecutor Giuliano Mignini told CNN the strongest evidence against Knox and Sollecito was the fake break-in he says they staged to cover up their role in the crime.

&quot;In whose interest is it to fake a robbery? Only the people who lived there,&quot; he said.

But even the prosecution admits the evidence is largely circumstantial.

That said, <span style="font-weight: bold">Knox and Sollecito's behavior after the killing is hard to explain away</span>.

Kercher died around midnight; it was more than 12 hours before Sollecito phoned police to report a break-in.

The call, which plays out at the end of the prosecution video, is full of contradictions, with Sollecito first saying there had been a robbery, but then minutes later saying nothing was stolen.

In fact, money was missing from Kercher's purse, but it was in the blood-spattered room with her. During the call, Sollecito doesn't admit to having entered the room.

When Knox was detained days after the killing, she apparently confessed, but later said her statement was made under &quot;pressures of shock, stress and exhaustion.&quot; She also said police had struck her while she was in custody.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Knox also apparently knew the position of Kercher's body, even though she did not admit to having been in the room</span>.

She pointed a finger at her employer, Patrick Lumumba, as the killer, but witnesses said he spent the night in the pub he ran. He was never charged with a crime, and Knox was convicted of defaming him.

Her story of where she was that night changed several times. When she was accusing Lumumba, she said she was in the house, covering her ears so as not to hear Kercher's screams.

She later said she spent the night at Sollecito's house, but he said he could not remember if she was there all night.

The jury's verdict itself raised further questions. Was its verdict unanimous? (Italian juries reach majority verdicts, not unanimous ones, with the defense winning in case of a 4-4 tie on the eight-member panel.)

Why did Knox get 26 years and Sollecito 25? Sollecito's lawyer, Luca Maori, has called the sentencing illogical, saying that if the two were guilty, they should have been sentenced to life as the prosecution demanded; while if they were innocent, they should have been acquitted. Too me those acts aren't the actions of guilty persons. Imagine if they had done this horrible crime, <span style="font-style: italic">and then</span> acted like that in the police station <span style="font-style: italic">before</span> they were interrogated all night long. They would have been insane to do that, like Manson followers. But they aren't like that... and they didn't turn against each other, even though the &quot;broke up.&quot; And because the crime was fueled by drink and drugs (pot?), they both had two years to sober up. You would think that they would have both, long ago, confessed... and expressed terrible remorse.
