Robert Hill’s widow challenges police version of his killing
Entertainer Robert ‘Kentucky Kid’ Hill’s widow Kumiko Hill explained to the Sunday Herald that she heard seven shots all from the same gun while she was in her house the night of Wednesday December 9, when the police killed her husband.
“Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam,” the softspoken Japanese national said she heard. “Ten minutes later two more shots… it’s the same gun.”
According to a CCN reports, Robert Hill, was killed at about 9:40 p.m., when police officers went to Ivy Green Mews where Hill, who the police say fitted the description of a man they were searching for, was seen.
According to the CCN report, the police accosted him and he pulled a firearm and opened fire at the officers.
The police say the fire was returned and Hill was hit and a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver containing three rounds of ammunition was taken from him.
Kumiko, who lived at Ivy Green Mews with her spouse, said he received a call that night that someone wanted to see a car that he was selling. He told her he was going out to the front of the Ivy Green Mews Scheme, and would be right back. His cousin accompanied him.
According to Kumiko, Robert had forgotten the key for the car and asked his cousin to return to the house for the key.
While his cousin was still in the house Kumkio said that she heard her husband shout, “Junior!!” and then she heard explosions.
Robert ‘Kentucky Kid’ Hill predicted his death and he actually named the cops who would be responsible, during several interviews with the Sunday Herald leading to the publication of the story on September 20, see Conspiracy to kill? [1].
During his last exchange with members of the Sunday Herald’s team, Hill virtually in tears said he was convinced that cops were stalking him and he felt intimidated.
Based on a police report, Hill was killed during a shootout with a police party on Wednesday, December 9.
