What if the Empire State Building just crashed with everyone inside in the middle of the afternoon? That seems pretty terrifying to me... hard to measure on a scale of 1 to 10, but I think the country would lose it's mind.

you guys are putting me in the position of defending things I'm not really trying to lol.

I'm not the biggest fan of the US government by a long shot, especially not in the last 8 years. I still am not sure what is so convincing however, about a 9/11 conspiracy- I should say competing conspiracies, about 9/11. Because like I said, there are a lot of them. Especially when we can track the development of the various threads and see where and who develops the theory- like when they pick apart quotes and such and edit them to show the 'conspiracy', or show you the exit hole of the pentagon and not the entry hole and ask you how could a big plane cause a small hole, which if you do the measuring it more than measures up to the dimensions. Nor do I know why accounts of the people on the scene who collected the black box, body parts, and other things from the pentagon attack is summarily dismissed or not reported on the conspiracy sites. I don't know why it is fair to believe it took 4 years to produce that photo or where that claim comes from- it seems like that is wrong, actually, because it was shot by the AP after the attack. Photoshop skills aside, the photo as evidence is long gone but still.

What I'm saying is that if you want to look into a real, a very real, conspiracy, then look no further than IRAQ. Where you have solid evidence, you have people caught red handed, and yet...no justice, no outcry, and precious few websites documenting it.

But like I said, there is a paper trail of how these various conspiracies have developed over time. Look into it. You will soon find it too, and saying &quot;I don't know&quot;, I mean forgive me friends, but that is not enough to warrant belief in anything other than the facts as are known- Al Qaeda succeeded in landing an attack on the United States.

You see how easy it is to get wrapped up in foolery, if we are convinced in the first place it had to be a missile.

To suggest other than what has come to be recognized as the facts of the matter is to ask more questions than what the supposed answers can make sense of, and again, I don't knows don't convince in the face of overwhelming facts and what is actually known.

If you say conspiracy, entire sections of the record and evidence of 9/11 must be thrown out without satisfactory explanation.

me too, but I've never seen one parked against the pentagon. that's my point, what frame of reference could we have to really make that statement? it might very well look like the hole is too small- but the measurements taken, in addition to all the other gathered evidence, like tail, airplane seats, the black box, etc. all show the truth. so in light of that, we have to accept our perception is what is at fault, opinions and feelings aside.

Humano, I think it is a matter of public record. I can't say if it is in the 9/11 Commission's report, I never read it. I've been thinking about it though, as it's certainly fascinating if true. But I also am not sure what a satisfactory answer would be for the war gaming scenarios as far as how they would fit into a 9/11 conspiracy. It's pretty interesting, and apparently Norad runs all kinds of these things, some are just computer models, some involve both computer models and planes. We know how Cheney was always going on about severe attacks against the US and what the aftermath scenarios would be and hiding out in his bunkers and stuff.

But I would suggest that short of them knowing for a fact that the planes were going to be weaponized, I think they would simply follow normal hijacking protocols. Which means they probably would not have done anything but trace or follow the planes. So the attacks probably would have still happened.

Of more concern to me I think, would be that security ON the planes is still reliant on things like, passengers lol. I mean, passengers subdued this latest fellow. That's absurd.

It didn't take me very long to find a gallery of images collected of plane debris, inside the pentagon and out. Took about 3 seconds and a click to be honest.

What I DO know is his passing received numerous mentions in Arabic and Urdu newspapers, read to me by Arabic speakers.

I didn't read about his death in any Western papers.
