GO? Ontario Northland. Train too...but the schedule doesn't work for me. I'll train my way back in March.

Moved up here to get away from Big City life. Fresh air. Lakes. Forests. I'm a Bushman you know. One of the things that first made me fall in love with Jamaica was how much the countryside reminded me of Muskoka in the summertime. Same old roads...fields, vegetation. [OK...different kinds of plants and trees but the same still]

Timmins isn't far from here. Not that I'd walk there. Awful looking place that. But...when I first got into radio I worked up in this general area for about 3 1/2 years...early 73 to late 76. I liked it...and I liked the people.

Friendly. Down to earth. NO big city pretention. No lineups...for anything...including golf...which I've learned to play. No traffic jams. FAR less bull excrement.

I promised myself in 1979 that as soon as I didn't HAVE to live [and work] in a large city...I'd move north. You think if I moved down to JA I'd live in Kingston? Not a snowball's chance in a pizza oven.

Lol,..well make your mind up son,first you say it may be the antics or foolishness why people doesnt post anymore,...then you say you havent seen a good squabble for years.

As for G2,..many good members like her have left,and I do miss 1 or 2 of them,but I wouldnt say it was because of any negativity,some left for various reasons,I would say mostly to do with where they were in life,or where they were going.

however,not everyone who no longer post here was exactly a &quot;good&quot; member,some of them were shyster,..and good riddance.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the 'curves' life throws at us that daliances like the internet just fall by the wayside. Then, too, there's reality. Sometimes I get caught up in recording marathons and I don't go near ANY message board for months on end. Then golf season hits. Let's see...go outside and enjoy the 6 good months of waether we get each year or stay inside and type tripe? Not a tough decision.

My whole puter got wiped after moving. Man...you know what...her e-mail must be here? How does one access a profile when the person doesn't post? I tried to PM her...no good. She still live in the same place DahJah? Last time I talked to her...they were planning to move...and that was over 2 years ago. 2nd daughter's wedding was coming up maybe? Can't remember for sure.

Everything is everything,you cant please everyone,when *I* stop posting on jamaicans.com if anyone is happy about it it wont matter to me,I will be very happy myself doing what I will be doing,...anyone on here that I consider friend I will still have their contact,the rest wont matter.

Of course i always CARED about what YOU thought Peps.

Just e-mailed G2. I don't keep an e-mail address book. Never have. Just look up past e-mails and cut and paste the addy. Works for me...until the e-mails all get tossed. So it goes.

I'm as computer 'literate' as I want to be. And that usually works.
