My concern are the supply of teachers. It is the end of spring break so many teachers had gone abroad for the 2-3 week vacation period.

Schools are due to reopen tomorrow and my daughter's finals begin in two weeks. I hope there are enough teachers to go round.

I don't want a text at 7am in the morning telling me school will be closed for another week!

And indeed, tomorrow is the start of the new school term after Easter holidays in Europe, so loads more people were abroad then and THIS was the weekend for coming back....

And it beggars belief that they closed the embassy for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I hear that some of the airlines are sending test flights into the cloud and then assessing the damage done to the aircraft.

Sounds dangerous to me. So how do they find pilots to fly such missions? Do they get danger pay? Are they members of a union, if so wouldn't the union step in and stop them?

Where is Magix wid di answers? Inquiring minds need to know!

This makes me wonder more about the<span style="font-style: italic"> &quot;Year with no summer&quot;. </span> Who here knows about this? People literally froze to death the summer of 1816, a year after a horrific volcano on Mount Tambora. It took a year for the ash to travel through the atmosphere and screw up the weather in northern US...
