this isn't about 'paying' her for some job she did, it's about his consequences for damages HE caused. The dollar amount should be relative to <span style="font-weight: bold">his</span> worth, not to <span style="font-weight: bold">hers.</span>

i might guess she's setting the amount so high to 'get him where it hurts' - not necessarily cause she 'needs' a certain amount for her living expenses.

We do not know the role she played in the marriage. We do not know if she helped him make key decisions to with finances to make him the first Billion dollar athlete? Are we saying her never spoke to her about where he is going in his career and life? Now lets look at it from her side. What if she had become a super model instead of Tigers wife. How much money did she forgo?

well IMHO it makes no difference whether or not she actively 'advised' him in any regard or provided any tangible or direct work or financial input.

what she did was provide a stable home life, &amp; created an atmosphere which provided him with security &amp; stability, knowing that when he was out at work, she had his back at home.

and instead of respecting and valueing that, he completely and totally abused it. and now he's gonna pay. if he had a shred of intelligence he ooda realized if he had just acted right in the first place, money woulda never come into it between him and her.
