prezackly seveen. the dollar amount is irrelevant - it's the percentage that makes the difference in how much she <span style="font-style: italic">can get him where it hurts</span>, and make him pay, tangibly, for what he did.

Okay since we want to look at the marriage or before/after. The question then is has he been more successful since he has been married to Elin? Has he won more titles? Has he increased his net value since marriage?

I know this is not the Michael Jordan case but look at that divorce settlement compared to this. Jaunita was with Michael from him college days.. so dat mean sey im neva have the kina worth when she was with him ina di early days. He built up his net worth from basketball and endorsements and she established her own enterprise and business and was in fact a business partner to Michael. Juanita bore 3 kids for him ..she keep di house criss to and she gave him financial advice and ran his charity organization. He also CHEATED Plenty nuff time!!!

The judge looked at his worth , her worth, the children and all assets yaadi yaah and shi was awarded $168 Million..Said to be the highest settlement to date in entertainment history. Plus their prenup entitled to half and that money she got was estimated to be just a 3rd of his wealth and she took it and moved on..


Now yuh look pan dat case and compare it to Elin an tell mi how shi come up wid dat figure?

given his stated potential from an early age, his marriage does not factor into the equation...he was ontrack to be one of if not the most successful golfer , given his early start n his shown potential...

his marriage is juss a caveat in his life...if he held her contribution in such esteem, i would tink he would have behaved accordingly...obviously he did not..

I didn't think Tiger was getting endorsements because he was married? So how do you co-relate his marrying her to increasing wealth? That is implying if he was single he would nat have made jack sqaut all dat time as a single man

I'm guessing it may have something to with Tiger being the highest paid athlete ever and the fact that he has many more years of earning potential ahead of him.

the cougars don't get crap - the rentas get everything - house, car, business - then they scare the sh&amp;t out of the cougar and hope she never comes back to jamaica - dat's how dat works - so since me like to clean clocks - no rentas for me

as far as comparing to other cases, i think that also doesn't have much relevance. i'm just opining on this one on it's own.

but if that's how the court decides things things, it does make me wonder if tiger is worth more than MJ was at that time. i guess we'll see -

dat is a stretch to compare har to Juanita...Juanita is a lawyer who MJ openly acknowledged as playing an active part in his wealth accumulation...her settlement and the ease of it shows his giving her the nod...Elin ongle transferred her au pair job experience to motherhood , n i am sure dat save the nine months, she in turn had au pairs to look after the mundane duties of said motherhood not to mention the mundane duties of housekeeping
