anyone ever had a near death experience?

came close as i ever had yesterday and it weird..

first, the previous day my new drivers license came and i tore off the organ donor card that attached and put it on the passenger seat of my car. anyway, im @ work and a boom truck i was operating sank into the ground and came a fraction of a second from rolling over ( the right side wheels were of the ground) and i was beside it. the ret of the day all i could think about was being squished under a fourty tonne truck squished like a dead squirrel on a two lane highway
and the police coming to my door to give Lorna notification.
I come home, tell Lorna, then she gives me my mail. My car insurance company sending me offer for accidental life insurance. SPOOOKY.

so does this mean my days are numbered? All day today im driving with utmost caution not even speeding. And being super nice to people, and came home and looked at my flower garden and watching the birds

the only way i want to die is some 21 year old on top of me and my heart blows a micro processor. I dont wanna be accidently killed at work--not being squashed

You had a guardian angel watching over you. Lucky you! Glad you didn't get squished like a squirrel. Workplace accidents resulting in death seem to be on the rise these days. The Delta pilot, and a few around these parts lately.

Now si, dis is yuh problem right dere. Yuh need to be very specific regarding yuh dying wishes. You didn't say 21 year old <span style="font-style: italic">female</span>. For all you know, you could die with a 21 year old <span style="font-style: italic">truck</span> on top of you ... oh wait, nevah mine

I have had a few of dem .. One funny enough was at oil rig site while it was kicking but I that doent count casues I took off running... Here are some of the more memorable ones:

Jamaica in 1974 was the first time I can recall looking down the buiness end of a shotgun. (Men an guns but then socialists in Jamaican ever did that sort of thing, I took off and did one of the greatest moments of inspiration I even had a ran straight at a cow who just had a calf, (Dont ever do that to Jamaican cows they come at you!) It too off at me I swerved the cow kept going the gun went off and the cow took both barrels in the face... Me I got a couple pellets s in the derriere .. no more than macka juk.. (My mother reminded me of this earlier this year.. I had forgotten that incident.. Explain how you got shot to Jamaican parents was more scary than being shot at!)

Next time i got arrested for chatting up a policemans school girl object of affection.... (I was a ugly shy guy) ...then she started chatting to me as I walked to mi grung and shi walked to school who said words wernt dangerous.. He beat the [censored] out of me...Damn I discovered that I had a talent for seduction...But when a Jamaican polic man is beating the [censored] out of you.. expect to die...

Central America in the early 80's running through the jungle like Tarzan.. An AK on my side, a colt in my hand taking fire from some guys who with whom I had considerable differnece of opnion in commerical, and socio-poltical philoshies..

In Africa few times Liberia, Guinea, Congo again differnece of opion led various people trying to prove the laws of the conservation of energy against my flesh..

Being machine gunned in Turkey was funny, the blow back from that mine in chad was surprising but annoying since that the guy who got eviserated covered me in gore. Those time in the late 90's in Algeria during their Islamist period...The time my car got rear ended in Libya at 100 miles an hour and it spun across the motor way into on coming traffic..

The time the helicopter loss power and fell a thousand pllus feet over the hnorth atlantic before the pilot autogyrated and the engine restarted

The time the vessel I was on was under tow, the captain mis calculated the weather we were hit by a force 9+ wind blow (100 year storm) and we went spinning as three of the 8 tow lines snapped the tow line on two off the tugs snapped and we went drifting in a circle with a list of 20 degrees... We then got evacuated by helicopter to Lerwick where we had a great night out and told each other we were not scared...

In Angola Savimbis boys thought that an experiment of the effect of an RPG would have on the aluminium fusilage of a plane...

and the last time I can recall was I almost drowned of Djeba in Tunisia... This was the only time I look back I was frightened, each time I have been scared but never frighted. Each time other time I was expecting to die certain... Now I am frightened of death.. but near death experience make life worth living and makes the living fear death...
