When we move in

I've been here since 1987, the neighborhood was other, and is now "changing". My next door neighbor ( who is a police woman), throws parties for 4th of July, Memorial Day, New Year's Xmas., every kid in the family has their party at her house because it is the "nice" house in the family, oh because the wind blew, whatever......Problem is her "guests" don't understand that the party is AT her house, not out in the street. After her "parties" beer cans and beer bottles are in the streets for 3 blocks.

But the straw that broke the camel's back would be the neighbors yard directly behind mine...why oh why do you put a damn refrigerator out on you rdeck out doors???

Well she had a "pool party" for the end of school with little blow up inflatable pools and I spent the whole day throwing their beach ball back across the fence.....then she had one for Memorial day....yep she'll have one for 4th of July too, and the music is so loud over there that the walls in MY house tuhmp and vibrate...(and this is a police officer, you think I'm gonna call anyone???? NOT)

The house is up for sale (second time), and knowing my luck, if it sells at today's prices I can look forward to worse than her next door.

I have a role model for that on here.</span></div></div>If you get on with them, can you not speak to the neighbors about keeping unsightly applicances around their home? If there's a homeowners' association, go through that organization. If not, create one. Or report the neighbors to the city office that is supposed to enforce zoning, etc.

We lost our association and the covenants because we did not consistently have a representative in the neighborhood council that governs these things. After you loose them, getting them back is VERY difficult, so at the present time we don't have any.

Well since the housing crisis, the price you get for a home is way down, which puts it into the affordable reach of people who probably ordinarily could not afford it. Also this particular house, you know how you have the high end house in your neighborhood, and then there is the smaller, low end one, this one is the latter.

Everytime this particular house has sold the folks who get it get worse and worse. The ones who moved out were the ones that had the pit bull that took the fence down plank by plank and came after my little dog one day, we just barely made it in the hos\use. They sold the house cheap just to move to a better neighborhood, and that was when I got Miss party animal. The people before the pit bull people had a son who was insane and the cops had to go in to get him because he had barricaded himself in the house. No telling what will be over there next. It's the el'cheapo house in the hood that seems to attract the least attractive residents.
