When visiting Florida or the Caribbean and I see them, I actually find them charming - somehow I lost my fear of them. When my brother got married in Ft. Lauderdale, my children were so bored with the wedding that they sneaked outside the church and we found them under a shady tree hunting for anoles!

For the Girlfriend Tour I was always the designated lizard in my room remover. Call Marilyn, she'll get it. Show you how sappy and obsessed I was with Jamaica, if it was in Jamaica it must be alright, even found myself calling them &quot;cute&quot;.


I was raised on horrible fear of all things reptile having gotten that phobia from my mother, but when it came to the ones in Jamaica, I'm cool.

All I need was a glass and a sheet of paper . I'd put the glass over them, run the paper between them and the wall, walk them outside and set them free with a smile on my face. Whoda thought.

Now see, the iguana is a problem. They keep Florida off my list of places to move. I don't even know how I would get to my car if one took up in my yard. And I hear it is not that common, but what if it got in the house? All I can say is broke furniture and much screaming if I can't get to my gun first.
