IMO, Lobbyist would never let it pass. Florida makes money off sugar cane, citrus fruits, fishing and hospitality. These are industries are all bursting at the seams with undocumented immigrants.

Exactly. Bill McCollum (? spelling) was losing ground to Rick Scott so McCollum is jumping on that bandwagon.
