Re: A Sad Day
The winds are not so intense and only in spurts, but the rain is hanging there to no avail, from the outer bangs of storm Nichole which center is located west of Jamaica and south of Cuba heading north they say towards Florida.

Re: A Sad Day
Praise be, Wendy. The rains have held up most of this morning, but can start up again at any time, due to the cloud cover over the whole island.
The weather sattelite has us under red in the photos 24x7 since late Tuesday.
Many roads are immpassable. Gully bank houses have been washed away, especially off the Hope River in August Town, Kintyre and Papine areas.

That was all part of the weather fiasco happening.
Amazing how that tornado swooped off many roofs in Sav and fell many trees.
But the major weather system affecting Jamaica are the outer bangs of this storm Nichole which has been more stationary, thus causing rain and more rain since Monday.
