these greedy irresponsible corporations NEED to be exposed for the fiscal obscenities they perpetrate, for the fallout it has caused to the regular working people - we who have been encouraged all our lives to trust these greedy self-serving bastards with our money, and for which trust they have instead royally screwed us. JMHO of course.
i know i'm late, and that wasn't the point of the original post, but i can't really join the discussion on that, cause i'm not nearly as knowledgable as others are.
however, i can opine that johnnycakes input is basically pretty much the same way I also feel. The more I find out about how our government really works, the more horrified I become, and the more I feel we, the whole nation, were hoodwinked - cause what they 'taught' us (cough cough) in school is <span style="font-style: italic">so</span> NOT not the truth of how this country <span style="font-style: italic">really</span> operates. it has caused me to really lose trust in our entire system of (so called)
governance, as well as our educational systems - cause i've come to realize that what they taught us as kids, and probably still teach today - is NOT the truth.

I actually think there is nothing surprising on Wikileaks.. Absolutely nothing on Jamaica... That Diplomats are incompetent is not surprising. that Hillary had the UN bugged, That the US tortures aint new... That karsai is paranoid ?... That the UK is nervous about its perseived special relationship ?????
Most of the comments ar banal at best.. and frankly waste of time..
nothing on it on Jamaica or T Dad...
The only thing that it demonstrated is the unsophisticated nature of US forgien policy and interactions with others... that is the threat to national security...
Now getting the same from the chinese goverment or Cuba or UK or France would be a method of comparision... But the US as the bully in the neighbourhood.. as smarter, better at diplomasy.. A better insite would be the bbc program on the climate change meeting at Copenhagen....Comment
