Re: Crystal Cathedral bankruptcy shows generous pa
Thanks SmoothOperator,
I know about what are commonly called "cafeteria Christians" who go down the line picking this or that from amongst the teachings.
What I'm trying to figure out is the rationale for claiming to be a christian (one who DOES and acts as Christ taught) and supporting big money, capitalism and opposing anyone who actually advocates and does help the poor and sick exactly as Christ would have us all do as the Cubans are doing in Haiti and around the world.
I have found that those who talk Jesus up the most are also the most vociferous opponents of actually supporting policies, people, countries that are doing God's work.
I just don't understand how they can justify or bear the contradiction.
You seem to have a handle on these matters, what do you think about this specific question ?.
How about you Mr Milo?
