I had a discussion 3 weeks ago with some friends and the question was asked. <span style="font-weight: bold">Is not everyone in the world African?</span> If the human race started in Africa then everyone is African (Black, White, Asian, East Indian etc) through ancestry...

I think it depends where you are from and where you currently live.
In Trinidad they have all different names for different people.

I always found it ironic that in JA the Lebanese are called Syrian,
but in today's world to call a native Lebanese a Syrian and vice versa can have adverse consequences.

Where I live I don't even assume anybody's background anymore because more time people are too sensitive about it.
But I find it interesting that when you ask a Pakistani where he is from he will say Pakistan, and when you ask an Indian
the same question he will say the state that he is from in India.

That is not the case. There are so many different cultures that co-exist in Africa. The main reason why
there are so many wars and problems there is that there are different cultures that historically didn't like each other
now forced to live in the same country with borders drawn by the coloniser.

If you go to Kenya (where Wahalla wants to retire) and ask anybody who they are, they will first say the tribe they
belong to then Kenyan.

It seems the Garden of Eden was in south west Africa.

I watched an interesting program on the airplane a couple of weeks ago where they had a 100 New Yorkers give a DNA sample and they traced their ancestry.

They had them come back a month later and had them all line up ascordin to the path their ancestors took out of Africa and which part of the many different paths their ancestors stopped. Needless to say some people were in for a surprise.

Of course you can't really narrow down to one place again since in the last few centuries people just can't stay put one side and now with how you can go anywhere in the world nonstop within 18 hours flying time everybody's DNA a mixup mixup and make de show ppl dem life miserable fi figure out is wah.
