if you take a yacht hostage and cause the 'white' americans on board to be killed...then you are no longer 'caucasian'...

White floks have always attended those traditional black colleges - you see they have a choice they can go anywhere they wanted to and even to this day &quot;blacks&quot; cannot do that. There is one college I believe in GA where they had dominated the music department.

I just watched a documentary on PBS called &quot;African American Lives Part&quot; with Dr. Louis Gates. This has been an ongoing series but this one showcased a lot of so-called prominent AA like Maya Angelou, Tom Joyner, Bliss Broyard, Tina Turner, Linda Johnson Rice, Don Cheadle and Morgan Freeman among others. They performed some DNA tests and was able to tell how much percentage of european blood and black most of these people had. Gates himself is 50% european blood and Maya had a high percentage also. Tom Joyner who is &quot;high yellow&quot; had less than those two. A lot of the above thought they had native american blood and surprisingly(sp) they had less than believed especially Don Cheadle whose descendants we enslaved by the Choctaw Nation not by people of european descent. By the way according to the documentary Don Cheadle's family did received their 40 acres of land unlike the AA. So, one cannot look at someone's skin color and determine what percentage of white or black or even native american blood each person has in his makeup.

The General application, however, does not apply to scholarship programs that require a separate application. To be considered for other scholarships through the Apply Online process, you must complete the online application for that scholarship.

This application is for scholarships awarded during the 2010/11 academic year.
