To me, God and religion are completely separate. Does God need religion?
The belief in a creator or a God demands the suspension of logic and in that at least is not unlike religions which are the ritualistic wrappings of the belief in a supreme being.
Both are human concepts.
Who or what created God?.
There are a lot of unanswered questions.
Christopher Hitchens in one of his many debates on the existence of God said that in discussing the Big Bang theory of creation of the universe he explained to his young daughter that in that theory everything came from an explosion of a ball of something no bigger than a baseball.
She then asked; " What was outside that ball?"
