There is nothing secret about the way the GOUSA works.
There are two capitalist parties whose members and candidates are bribed by the wealthy and the corporations to have them do as the wealthy and the corporations wish.
No rational person believes otherwise and it is not a conspiracy theory.

There are however, many millions and in fact the vast majority who tend to believe that what we have is somehow a democracy and not a totalitarian oligarchy. Most don't even know what an oligarchy is (rule by the rich and powerful).

The GOUSA and the media need fool only enough people to keep the system intact and since the oligarchy owns the media that is a fairly simple task.

Obama REPRESENTS the people who run America. It's called President.

Also, if he tries to implement ideas that are not 'on-policy' or refuses to sign on the dotted line, he will be forced to resign over a drug/homosexual/extra marital/corruption (take your pick) scandal.

Or depending on how angry the people who run America are, Obama might have a heart attack or they will blow his head off in front of dozens of witnesses and say an angry lone nut did it.

To be fair to obama he didnt instigate this latest crusade in libya,david cameron and sarkozy did,obama wanted to keep out of it,but after it looked as if it would have started without the US he had to join in,....or end up looking weak,damned if he did,and damned if he didnt..........life is tough at the top.
