i find that we have to know when to release and when to withold.
SOME executives will get us.. they may even apprieciate us.. the fact that we do not simply follow the flock..

Next time you send the document out, clarify what the reject button is to be used for and then state all other changes (eg fonts, dash, title names, etc) can be sent via an email and you will quickly update the master

All mi wanted dem to review was the content of the doc an all shi come wid is sinting weh deh inna di document fram Moses was a bway. When mi point dat out to har ..shi seh shi jus seeing dem (she reviewed the draft fram dat time)

She knows she doesn't want you to go yet she's going to nitpick you to death over some foolishness. Does she know about your book because it sounds like a case of envy gone awry?

At my last job, my new manager was out sick for a month after I had only been there two weeks. I filled in for her so well and was so much less hormonal that her manager, the internal account managers, and the external developers were bringing me gifts. I thought she'd be happy that things were running smoothly while she was out. That would be no. A friend gave me a talk about human nature and how of course my manager could not be happy that I was so easily able to step in.

Now people with good sense don't mind delegating and are happy to have hired somebody capable of doing the job. Nothing is worse than trying take up for a bad hiring decision. I had one technical writer from Mississippi who I had to wonder if English was her first language.

I'm with Rich on this one Instead of waiting for her to come with some BS every time, ask her to document the frills she's expecting on your documents. And I'd go so far as to say ask it in writing. At a minimum, it will give her some work to do and occupy her time.

Tulip I just think it to be ironic that for a place dat didn't have standards til mi set dem up dere is all this nit picking. I am not above you pointing out errors ...even if they are minor .. what is getting to me is that she is making a stink over it. All I am trying for her to do is to just review the document's content and approve di dyam ting an mek mi move on. Cho!

Anyway, X - gi mi wan lang lecture pan di subject soh mi ago try hangle it differently from now on.
