Yes, there certainly is a body of opinion that subscribes to this claim, and there are somr that insist that the whole incident was nothing more than a psy-ops campaign to influence public opinion just in time for the Canadian election. We will probably never know for sure, but this scenario doesn't seem unlikely to the more cynical souls among us.

So if indeed binLaden has been killed and things afterwar5d happened as 'they' said they did, the question arises: who oversaw this process of the so-called burial at sea, and who was the imam who said the so\called prayers, and what sort of cloth did they dress him up in, and why didn't they rather give his body to his relatives ( I hear he had a huge number) as per Islamic custom? - and which by the way is the procedure followed in countries like Iraq where the sectarian strife took 3 long years of instigating by the 'Western' powers and was resolutely resisted by the top Islamic 'clergy' on both sides of the Sunni-Shiite divide for that long before they finally got their way!

Long before I was a Muslim, I had an open mind that never took anyfhing in the media at face value, and after much (very scary!) research onna di intanet I became convinced that Muslims were neeva respansible for 9/11, and I think it's quite unlikely that you are in danger in NYC at this time anymore than any of us anywhere else. binLaden was certainly not a nice guy by any manner of means, and there are hotheads in all religions, but please feel safe where you are because believe it or not there's as much Love as Hate out there.

re your comment above, i'm a little surpised that u ask these questions when it is clear that the death of bin Laden was not a normal one. he was executed by people for whom he was the enemy - in essence, killed in battle - and his executors actually had no obligation whatsoever to follow any religious rite in disposing of his body.
