Am I being too picky?

So I got a live in helper recently. She's a gem! She stays during the week when I am at work. She's great with the kids. The house is immaculate. Perfect. She doesn't cook for me, just the kids. But that's fine cuz I don't really eat from people like that.

The one flaw I have though is that she doesn't fold my towels the way I like them folded. She folds them big with the edges showing and I tend to discretely fold them all again and put them back in the linen closet.

Should I bring it up to her or am I just being excessively meticulous?

You simply want your home to continue the way you like it.
One of the most ignored acts in initiation of a new employee is the neglect of explaining your idiosyncrasies That can be a breaker even When all else is perfect.
I would explain how important it s to me Just after lavishing her with praise about Ger other skills.

And give her some little trinket the first time she accomplished it.
Something like you would do to a hotel maid.

If she,s not good enough to eat from how come you allow the kids to eat from her...?

I didn't say she was not good enough...she cooks simple stuff like mac and cheese or noodles for the kids....I don't know how a full meal from her will taste and I don't need to find out. I am quite content cooking for myself.

if thats the only flaw you have with her
then you are very lucky
and maybe if you say anything to her about it things might jus start going downhill
somethings you just have to let slide

A joke yuh a joke right?

My helper recently threw away a whole wineglass in which scotch bonnet pepper seeds were soaking to sprout.
Thought that was a firing offense but me keep her still.


And yuh a grumble bout some foofoo towel edge weh a bodda yuh peace???

OK...so I guess the general consensus is that I am being too finicky about my towels I will keep my discontent to myself then and keep refolding them behind her back
