I am fussy about how I fold my towels, and I am also fussy about what color order they are stacked in.

Tell the helper, but do make sure you lavish her with praises at the same time and make her know you aren't trying to be petty but you like them a certain way. I liked the suggestion of a thoughtful gift in the scenario, or a bonus may go a long way towards the future.

Skelly ..years ago I was living with a relative and she was picky down to how plates were lined up in the dishwasher ..picky to the point of how she wanted towels folded (like you) and what directions they should face in the closet.

After years of torture and frustration I simple STOP washing dishes and folding stuff. When she came home complaining about dishes not being washed, I simple told her I think she would do it better than me and said nothing else To dis day mi noh wash plate har yaad when mi visit. Moral of the story, if yuh dat picky...do it yourself.

but isn't this typical of a lot of jamaicans? especially jamaican men that want fi eat at them yard and don't like to go out to eat?

plates are lined in the dishwasher a certain way to maximize input of dishes so I can see wid ar.. Mi train boykia dat way GirlKia likes to wash pots so dat a fi ar job
mi easier on the towels but gwine try to fold towels the way rich suggested
