I do not mind the criticism.

Consider that for 40 years or so I have backed anti-war, anti-racism, pro-women causes and have been in the very small minority of people who did so.
I am used to not marching in step with what most people think and catching hell for questioning authority.

I wouldn't have done it any other way just to be popular with STUPID AND IGNORANT people .

why don't they just pass a law that <span style="font-weight: bold">anybody</span> who as interaction with the state or agents of the state is required to provide proof of status.

Mexicans are thought to represent 62% of illegal immigrants..why ignore the other 38% </div></div>

the law doesn't target mexicans it targets all illegal immigrants. i agree that mexicans will be affected because the population of illegal immigrants in states like alabama are mexicans

I seem to have struck a nerve with my comments on the stupidity and ignorance of the American people who think that illegal immigration is the fault of those who are fleeing conditions enforced upon them by the United States.

You don't understand or want to understand the history of U.S economic imperialism which has caused this &quot;problem&quot;.

So you do what the U.S government wants you to do and that is get distracted from the real problem by non-issues promoted by the right wing politicians and media.

You also get to keep distracted by posting against the truth.

Just for the record do you agree or disagree that in its long history of stifling revolutions, installing and/or supporting dictators, teaching and practicing torture and extra-judicial murders and preventing the use of socialist economies, the United States has created the very conditions that are bringing these economic and political refugees to the United States?

Remember that some of these same people have problems with polysyllabic and esoteric terms so don't go crazy with the thesaurus.

Lonrwolf has a very good and secure job. Picking tomatoes in the hot sun just isn't in his future.
What does he care about those less fortunate than he ?

That attitude is also rife amongst our elected officials who also have very good and usually secure jobs and who are so far out of it that many are now being caught with their pants down (literally) thinking that they are privileged and not like everyone else.

This is an attitude that comes with membership in the Capitalism Fan Club.

If you support a system based on selfishness and greed for everyone, disregard for the welfare of the poor comes as a direct tie-in with that support.


The cure?

A couple of years at hard labor in the hot tomato fields of Florida or any one of the many other degrading and inhumane jobs that are done by the poorest of us.
