Jah_yout hmmnn...not sure why you are attacking this from a &quot;Ras&quot; point of view when none of that is mentioned by anyone in the post. Step outside of the &quot;emotion&quot; for a minute and take an honest look at what people are suspecting.

Take for instance, it was said that Asafa Powell (Non Ras as he is) would not have a chance with Yendi had he not been a track superstar. i guess i may see it a little different because i have family that covers all the ranges of skin shade &amp; social standing;

jah cure is marrying his woman,....
their parents are not the ones getting married;
it really makes me sick to see people draw for the skin color argument immediately...that is what struck me;

that was my thought, too. noticed none of the media articles mentioned why he was convicted. shoddy journalism.

since time immemorial lower class men who have become rich have been able to attract women of higher classes. i think colour may be less an issue than class in this case. then again, colour and class in jamaica are closely linked.

Doesnt matter whether he,s a &quot;ras&quot; or not,he,s still an ugly ex con,without the locks he would still be an ugly ex con who,s marrying above his station.

I totally agree,absolutely shoddy journalism,all this tip toeing around the issue,the guy is a convicted rapist,and the fact that he is a talented singer and has turned a page doesnt lessen the impact of what he did,....if it was my daughter I dont care how much money he has,he wouldnt be welcome in my house.
