Well.....

I am on twitter because I need to follow couple organizations that are important to me. One in the city transit, the are pretty good at posting train delays and dem tings dere.
next is the new gourmet food trucks as only twitter or FB have dem location.

Others juss cause I find them funny.

And if i feel the need to vent about something I can.

you sign up on twitter.com find who you want to follow and go for it

Post interesting tings wid a hashmark like #tanyaisawesome and people will find you and follow you.

Like how you opinionated and love politics it would be a match made in heaven.

Evan, I don't do Twitter either, not much into Facebook but I love mi Skype. I have it on my laptop and on my phone.

15 cents per minute to JA. Free if they have Skype too.

Everyday I am tempted to take down the fb account but i am still making links with the high school/college friends so I guess it serving a purpose.

One reason that twitter is so popular is because people who are under 40 pretty much stopped talking on the phone... and their cellphones about 4...5 years ago. They text. And many people text many times an hour. On twitter (which you can install on your fancy cell) one can install twitter and then have a &quot;twitter feed&quot;... those are the people, newspapers, gov institutions, and things that interest you that you are watching. Like you can have a feed #Jamaica, and every time that anyone mentions Jamaica in their post, you can read it... and reply to the sender if you want.

There is another social networking site that is catching on, but is still under the radar, that's also pretty cool called Tumblr.com. I am a boring newbie there but this is my Tumblr http://f0rtylegz.tumblr.com/

As far as I'm concerned Skype is useful (free overseas phone calls). Twitter isn't.

i wish dem would just start charging a user fee so i could just delete myself mi loves mines so mi can hear odda ppl drama. and so i can sit an go omg dis she really post dat on fb

i would like to say i keep it to stay in touch wid fam an frens but honestly its a big waste a time. 90% the times a pure fawt inna di status etc. but atleast i know that dem (family etc) are alive an well and i get the highlights of dem life. if mi did fi wait till we phone/see each other it would never happen.
