its interesting to note the familiar/popular disgust with both leading parties. while this is completely understandable, how do we stop at simply suggesting that we do away with both parties, OR simply do not participate in the electorial process??

the JLP and PNP, for what they are worth, is simply us right now. Jamaicans (or Jamaican-American or Jamaican-Canadian) form these parties, and for what its worth, any new parties will be formed by.. Jamaicans.. (or Jamaican-American or Jamaican-Canadian)
Same stuff, different package..

instead of simply being jaded by both parties, how about participating in the process and then holding who ever the people employ, ACCOUNTABLE.

Is the expectation to have the option to elect a totally uncorruted/uncorruptable un-biased, anti-political saint-like leadership realistic?
In the absence of the utophic, (or the FDA approval of the Ideal Leadership Pill) how about trying to make the best of what we got. What if we try to make what we got now WORK.

X here's my take ...PNP/JLP in office them will be looking out for their welfare ... how about we just lump them all together and they decide how much they will teef for themself (when them not fighting against each other less admin cost to sustain/ make up for) and then something will be left to run the country or better yet because they are trying to tear down each other they will actually implement policies/programs to the benefit of the country.
