new to the position. but wanna dem one who have fren in high places that keep moving her around when she start p'ing off the big wigs.

mi a wonder if is a colour issue.

all mi know is, she always seem to be surprised to know that mi have complex files, that mi managing mi clients well, and that mi team deliver. so she resort to lickle petty tings fi mek me know seh she a di boss.

it actually feels some days like i'm in a bad movie.

mek sure yuh mek her know yuh know what she all about. don't mek her tek you for pappy show. push back..confront her when she talk nonsense. escalate issues. if she have a history of being shuffled around she will soon be moved don't let her force you out.


i ran from a manager one time and still regret it nearly 10 years down the road...set me back quite a bit. shortly after i ran she was exposed and shuffled off.

it is a job.. if the pain is not worth the reward then walk.... (reward does not simply mean the pay and benifits but the other non financial awards as well) all other considerations are secondary...

I have found over the years those that play these games are insecure personally and are unsure as to their own competence with a tendency to cover their own tail....
