His Constitutional Rights were violated, but Mr. Golding was not protecting his Constitutional Rights, he was just looking out for Bruce.
If Mr. Golding wanted to protect a Jamaican Constitutional Rights, he would have left the matter alone. Dudus had all the resources to battle it out in the Courts.
Some of the folks killed in Tivoli would still be alive today if he had not bungled the whole affair!

The main plank of his extradition was based on the ultra-MLAT agreements signed by Comrade Peter Phillips to hand over wire information/evidence to the USA authorities.
What was interesting is that the Minister of Justice had the power to refuse extradition for the potential of the very outcome of Tivoli invasion.
If Bruised had not interfered and just let the Justice Minister/AG do her work.

IMO, the JLP should have engaged in an assessment of its election strategy from after the 2007 general elections. Even after 18 1/2 yearsn of the PNP being in power and numerous scandals leading up to those elections including the Trafigura scandal the JLP just barely, barely by a sliver managed to win that election. Something was wrong from that time. Karl Samuda who was the campaign manager then who had predicted a generous seat count win for the JLP in 2007 when it had the wind at its back should not have been allowed back to run the 2011 election, not without an assessment of what went wrong then. Even if Mannat/Dudus never happened the 2011 election landside loss is not the least bit surprising in light of the 2007 barely win when the JLP just managed to crawl through the finish line.

This was not a JLP Argument. All the attack on Portia were attacks from her own Political Leadership.....KD, Peter, Peter Supporters, such as John Junior, Sharon Hay Webster and Maxine Henry Wilson plus Portia's own miscues.
It never bothered anyone the lies and misrepresentation told on Eddie Seaga and Bustamante.

Another reason the JLP lost is the failure to educate its own supporters. Since JLP as a Party, will never get its due in the mainstream media, the Party ought to maintain a constant propaganda unit that will inform Labourites of its history, its outlook and its plans and programmes.
Look at Tivoli since Eddie has built it, with all the trials and crosses it still has some of the best Sports and Cultural Teams in the entire Jamaica.
The JLP fail to embrace JLP successes at its own peril.
