Thanks ....but it was not I ....

Frank Phipps, David DaCosta, Richard Small and Father Gregory Ramkissoon did
a great job in framing Motty for those who did not know him, never heard of
him, learn of him through hersy or knew him but needed a refresher of the
breath and scope of his life and livity.

He was cremated .....but i am sure Gleaner Power will re-broadcast it at some future date. The audio was streamed live, so I just captured it.

Motty sure did get frail, looking at that image with Elaine Perkins by his side in whaat looks like the studio at POWER 106 FM.

Never the the less, Motty remains to me the strongest of minds, as well as the most honest and fairest of thinkers ever heard in my life time.

Not sure about that ....but i try.
I am going to upload the audio to my Windows Live just so there will be options to hear the funeral.
I have bunch of Motty's Programmes on tape I was thinking of doing Podcasts of his sets.
I have lost about 8 years worth....but i still have at lest two years worth of POL on various media.

Good keeping. You`re holding on to an investment, all those years of recordings by Motty. I am sure they will be of paramount value as time goes by.
We will be quoting and remembering Motty`s negative nattering maybug mutterings as we put reason to the madness that happens by our behaviour and cultural reaction to our depleted political vehicles, the always about, but hardly invited public political parties.

A 'Canon' of journalism
CVM-TV's Andrew Canon did a refreshingly balanced biographical piece on Wilmot 'Motty' Perkins that was aired Wednesday night. It was sad to see Ken Jones and Elaine Perkins deifying Motty, but then D K Duncan was equally demonising him. Good job though, Mr Canon.
