Thank you! I mean really if I allowed myself to get upset every time gov't spent money on something I did not agree with, I'd have already died myself from stress.

Whatever the circumstances of or if her estate is broke or not and why, she has certainly paid enough taxes over the years to more than finance one funeral.

And if they feel like flying their flags half mass then half mass them. If they want to make a damn state holiday, I don't see what the problem is. I've certainly had a day off for less.

the cost to the city/state is incidental not a grant or allocation.

Any cost incurred with police overtime, etc. will be to the City of Newark not the State of New Jersey. No state cops will be assigned.
