RIght, St Bess. The City of Newark is gonna pay a helluva lot of overtime to their cops, not the state of NJ. Hey - maybe they can tap Governor Christolini (a mix of Christi and Mussolini - a common nickname to refer to him by, hereabouts) for some extra money... he's got it in his billfold.

I'm just glad that I'm not in Newark this weekend. I'm too close to Newark and East Orange (this weekend) as it is, already! Too many outsiders here right now. I wish they'd all GO HOME!!

It'll all soon be over. Thank goodness.

this is tragiclly amusing..

I came across an Oprah/Whitney interview lastnight where when Whitney expressed to the great one (Oprah) that she simply wanted to dissapear from the limelight and open up a juice stand in a caribbean island..
Oprah retorted that Whitney should know that she is a NATIONAL TREASURE..

Now that the NATIONAL TREASURE bowed to the demands for her (attempts at a) return. .. succmbs to the perils that comes with this ,dies...
a state funeral for this NATIONAL TREASURE and the financing is an issue..

from what I see Oprah should pay fi it..a she and people likethe Clive bredren drove the woman to her death.

First it was the space shuttle challenger explosion on TV, had to watch that over and over and over. Than it was OJ and the famous Bronco getaway on film over and over and over...not to mention the trial. Than it was 911 and the twin towers falling down, over and over and over. Than it was the death of Michael Jackson over and over and over......Now it's Houston.

It's sort of like your favorite song on the radio. If they play it over and over and over...you learn to HATE IT!

That's kind of cold and heartless. A woman has gone through terrible pain and she has been dead for less than a week and you are tired of hearing about it? Have you no compassion?

Yes, I have compassion for those that die from things beyond their control.That said, there are plenty of people that go through terrble pain that die from drugs everyday, and they did not have the advantages of Houston...enough already. She was born with a beautiful voice, so what, that does not make her any different or better than any other drug addict that succumbs to their addiction. Her death was self inflicted. She controlled life or death. She chose death.

The cause of death has not even been determined. How do YOU know that it was drugs? You seem SO sure about it.
