i just woke up n remembered that today was the funeral..i turned to CNN to get an update n happen to come upon their live broadcast...just in time fi di eulogy/sermon by Pastor Wynam or however him spell him name...all i will say is that there is a fine line between a spectacle n a homegoing....is enuff him call up him entire family to supposedly sing a song of theirs that Whitney covered but all the bit bout dem record company, agents, the fact that his mother was in the crowd was a bit overkill...n then on to his bit on prosperity gospel...overkill fi his time in primetime

This is going on 5 hours...tooo loonnngg, still I am watching cause I am doing other things in the comfort of my home and I am nosey. I too can imagine the people that are in the church sitting.

I gave up at the 3 hour mark. Went out to do a little grocery shopping. Come back home and find it is still going on. LOL!

Agreed. I tuned in around 3 expecting to see a highlights and instead me realize sey it still a gwaan. And this Winans preacher did not even spend one second saying a word about the woman. It did not sound like a eulogy but a bit like an exercise in self promotion. Not appropriate for the occasion at all.

Church free and since dem naawfi pay, it can go on as lang as dem want.
